Platycerium Haunted Friday (pup)

A spooky, rare beauty for intrepid collectors! The Haunted Friday pup is a quirky Platycerium staghorn fern selection with intriguing markings. Its young fronds emerge deep green with irregular pale patches, giving a ghostly marbled appearance. Already quite busy for its size, this pup is derived from healthy parent stock and comes to us acclimated and ready to grow.

This medium-sized staghorn appreciates the usual bright, indirect light and humidity. Treat it as a typical epiphyte – mount it, water it regularly, and watch it thrive. Over time, its shields will form an overlapping nest and its antlers will grow upright with gently lobed edges, each frond featuring unique variegation patterns.
