Platycerium HIPS x Bogor White Sporeling

A rare highlight for any Platycerium collection. The HIPS x Bogor White sporeling is an uncommon hybrid that blends two striking varieties. Its fronds start out bright chartreuse green, quickly splashed with bold white patches that become more defined with age. Bogor White is a cultivar of Platycerium Willinickii. These sporelings have been nurtured from spore to small plants under our care, and are acclimated in well-draining bark mix.

This hardy fern loves being mounted or hung, simulating its natural epiphytic habitat. Provide bright, indirect light and gentle watering – too little light can fade the white sectors and too much dryness will slow growth.
